Well, apart from trying to figure out how to start a new blog, I've been busy upgrading my parents house and getting it ready to put it back on the market.
My girlfriend and I have decided that we can do anything.
So, we've done everything we can think of to get this house updated, including ripping out wall to wall carpet, laying down a floor, finishing hardwood floors, tearing down wallpaper, painting every room, emptying the basement of 10 years of storage, and that was just the first 2 weeks.
We have given ourselves another 2 weeks to finish up, before we put it on the market again...sans agent! We are so confident that people are going to fall in love with our upgrades, that we've decided to try to sell it on our own. We are going to give ourselves a month (JUNE)before we give it back to the agent.
Crazy? Maybe! But we've been having such a great time working together, that we think we might turn this into a partnership. We'll see how our first endeavour turns out. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, here are a few pics of us at work.
